Who it was exactly that called the provincials remains undisclosed at this time, but longtime teammate Bill McKinnon added "This has been going on for years man, and it's not like he just calls to see how your doing or anything, he's hammered out of his mind and wants to argue about stuff, most of the time he doesn't even make any sense !"
"I remember this time a few years back, Bobby called at 4am in the morning and started babbling on about his helmet, and how it was getting too small" mentions Andrew Vanloon, "I just put the phone on the night stand and let him ramble till he eventually passed out".
In what's been called a long, ongoing pain in the ass by his teammates, Bobby Gordon's bizarre off ice behaviour finally took it's toll early Sunday morning as he was escorted to the Woodstock OPP offices at 5am on possible charges of harassment and resisting arrest. Bobby was unable to comment on the incident, but Thamesford NBC alumni, and former teammate Dennis Glover was not surprised as the news unfolded.
"I know exactly what's happened !" said Glover as he dusted his numerous trophies, "Bobby has finally pissed somebody right off. You see, he has this thing about calling the entire team in the early hours of the morning before a game !"
