"Let's be honest, Fidler and I don't see eye to eye at all, but when he comes into the crease during warm up and starts to purposely create more snow, he's crossing the line. I calmly signaled the referee and Fidler was the one who lost control and threw my stick over the glass."

"Fact remains" say's teammate Gary Brunson, "Calder could very well be the first goalie that swept snow to the side of the net, he's always' been a very clean and orderly person since I've known him, but who the hell will ever know for sure ?

"You know when you see a goalie sweeping the snow to the sides of his net, I invented that !"

A boastful claim to be sure, but Calder, Binning's #1 goalie for almost 20 years now is quite serious about this fact, and will not hesitate to let the argument escalate to the point of shouting as Chris Fidler recalls. "I simply asked the ref to get rid of all the snow Calder had piled up beside the net, and he Gary lost it, shouting that he had the right to do that, and then he through his stick over the glass."

Calder recalls the incident and say's Chris Fidler is leaving out a few enormous details.
